This privacy policy applies to the Pitee app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Foundree OÜ (collectively, the “Application”). Foundree OÜ is hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”.
This section describes the current version of the Application. In the current version there is no account, no registration, and no sign-in, and the Application does not collect, log, or transmit any personal information.
The information you enter — your pet’s name, species and breed, the medications you track, their schedules, and the record of which doses were given or skipped — is held in the local storage of your own device. In the current version it is not sent to the Service Provider or to anyone else, and the Service Provider has no access to it.
The Application does not embed analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking software of any kind. If you tap a link inside the Application, such as the link to this privacy policy, your device’s browser opens that page and the ordinary technical data involved in loading a web page (including your IP address) is handled by the site you visit, not by the Application.
The Service Provider intends to add optional features in future versions, such as sharing a pet’s schedule with other members of a household, that will require information to be sent to and stored on the Service Provider’s systems.
Those features will be optional and will not change how the current version behaves. Before any such feature is released, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and who it is shared with, and the update will be published with a new effective date. Where the law requires your consent, the Service Provider will ask for it before any of your information is transmitted.
The Application asks for permission to send you notifications so it can remind you when a dose is due. These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by the operating system. No reminder content leaves your device. You may refuse or revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings; the Application will continue to work, but it will not be able to remind you.
This Application does not collect, request, or use information about the location of your mobile device.
In the current version, no information about your pets or their medication leaves your device, so there is nothing to share with third parties. The Service Provider does not sell or rent your personal data, and does not disclose it for advertising or profiling.
The pets, medications, and schedules you enter remain on your device until you change or delete them. The record of past doses is kept for 30 days and older entries are automatically discarded.
You can erase everything the Application has stored at any time using “Erase all data” in the Application’s Settings. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
Deleting the Application from your device also removes the data it stored. In the current version the Service Provider holds no copy, so there is no backup it can restore for you.
If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, such as by email, you may request deletion of that information by contacting guillaume@foundree.io.
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. If you voluntarily provide personal information through other means and are under 16 years of age, your parent or guardian must provide consent on your behalf where permitted by law.
In the current version your information is held on your device, so it is protected by the security of the device itself. Keeping your device locked, updated, and free of unauthorised access is the most effective protection. The Service Provider implements reasonable safeguards to protect the systems it operates and any information you send it directly.
If a breach occurs involving personal data held by the Service Provider, including information you have voluntarily provided by other means, the Service Provider will notify you and the competent supervisory authority as required by applicable law.
Where data protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, those rights apply to personal data a controller holds about you. In the current version the Service Provider does not hold the information you enter into the Application, so you exercise those rights directly by editing or erasing your data in the Application itself. For any information you have sent the Service Provider directly, and for any information held by the Service Provider under a future feature, contact guillaume@foundree.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.

If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
